Zita M. Rhea, 84, of Marblehead, Ohio died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Riverview Health Care Campus-Cottage Cove, Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born on April 25, 1922, in Marblehead, a daughter of the late Andrew, Sr. & Margaret (Harnad) Turinsky. She worked in Housekeeping at Memorial Hospital, and then at Firelands Community Hospital, Sandusky, Ohio. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, she served on the Altar-Rosary Society, and also was a charter member of Marblehead V.F.W. Post #7572. Her hobbies included knitting, and crocheting, and she loved decorating for the holidays. Survivors include her sister, Barbara Merrill, Marblehead; brothers, Coleman and Andrew Turinsky, Marblehead; many nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Albert Bango; second husband: George Rhea; brother, Francis Turinsky, and sisters, Alberta Turinsky and Mary Sauvey. The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Sunday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. Prayer services will begin at 10:30 AM Monday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Marblehead. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
