Wilma Goetz, 82, of Oak Harbor, OH, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Valley View Healthcare Center, Fremont, OH. Mrs. Goetz was born on August 5, 1923, a daughter of the late August & Emma (Haack) Klingbiel. She married Ervin C. Goetz on June 26, 1943, and he preceded her in death on August 30, 2005. Mrs. Goetz was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She was also a former member of Fremont Chapter #133, Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the former Oak Harbor Chapter #131, Order of the Eastern Star where she was a past worthy matron. Mrs. Goetz was a homemaker, and also assisted her husband on the family farm. She is survived by her son, Tom Goetz, Oak Harbor; brother, August Klingbiel, Jr., Chicago, IL; sister, Verna (Douglas) Sloan, Sylvania, OH; grandchildren, Tim (Amy) Goetz, Chris (Michele) Goetz, Amy (Tim) Wood, Joshua (Holly) Goetz, and Jeremy (Andrea) Goetz; great-grandchildren, Karly, Tabitha, Cliff, Kaylee, Jared, T.J., Timothy, Ashley, and Jasmine. She was preceded in death by her son, Norman Goetz, and a sister, Lillian Gregg. The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Sunday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday. Rev. Gerald Bauer will officiate, and interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
