Willis L. Toole

Willis L. "Bud" Toole, 74, of Put-in-Bay, OH died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. He was born July 16, 1936 in Esto, FL the son of the late Ollie and Panzie (Williams) Toole. Mr. Toole retired from General Motors where he most recently was the superintendant of the Orion Plant in Lake Orion, MI. He enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, baking, vegetable gardening, and playing in his poker group. He loved the time he spent helping his grandchildren and he would help anyone in need. Surviving are his wife: Sarah (Ellery); daughters: Tammy (Steve) Bucinski, Lisa (Robert) Casteel, Christine (Brian) Keyes; daughter-in-law: Joanie Toole; grandchildren: Jessica (Dan) Manier, Megan (Aaron) Benny, Jacob Bucinski, Caleb Bucinski, Melissa Toole, Maggie Casteel, Gwendolyn Keyes, Will Keyes; great-grandchildren: Sophie Manier, Reece Manier and Ruby Benny; brothers: Marcus (Ginny) Toole, Carlos (Carolyn) Toole; sisters: Melba (Charles) Pannell, Barbara (William) Mayer. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Phillip Toole, John Toole; brothers: Bobby Toole and Max Toole. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, April 18, 2011 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, Put-in-Bay, OH. Interment will follow in Mapleleaf Cemetery, Put-in-Bay, OH.
