William Pollard

Billy L. Pollard, 73, of Port Clinton died November 8, 2012 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. He was born March 4, 1939 in Lawrence Co., OH the son of the late James and Lessie (Lute) Pollard. He married Marilyn Swartz on September 29, 1959 and she survives. Mr. Pollard worked for Uniroyal Engineered Products for 31 years retiring in 1998. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton. Surviving are his wife: Marilyn; son: Rick (Trina) of Oak Harbor; daughters: Sheila (Juan) Rosas of Adrian, OH, Robin (Jeff) Shatto of Port Clinton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister: Mary Covert of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Harold, Milford, Manford, Wilburlee; sister: Betty Houseman. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 until the time of the service. Pastor Peter Dodd will be officiating. Burial will follow in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice or Grace Baptist Church.
