William Earlin Harder, Jr, 46, formerly of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away in his home in Northwood, OH on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was born on February 3, 1968 to William E. Harder, Sr. & Luana (Sherrill) Harder. Affectionately known as Billy Bob or Billy to many, he always had a smile to share, kindness in his heart, a twinkle in his eye and a silly side to boot. Bill was always full of energy and could never sit still. He was quite an accomplished athlete from his beginning years in pee wee football, little league baseball, all the way through to cross country and track & field in high school. Bill was always very determined and focused which allowed him to break many school records in track & field. A 1987 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, Bill was on varsity and lettered all four years of high school. He always enjoyed singing, especially Elvis songs, which led him to starting a karaoke/DJ business with his wife, Tammy. One of Bill's true passions was fishing. Growing up, he always seemed to have a fishing pole in his hand. He even had the opportunity to fish with his dad and brother a few weeks before his passing. Bill worked at TruBlu Logistics in Oregon, OH, and was loved by all his co-workers. This was apparent by all their visits at his home during his final days. Bill is survived by his wife, Tamara (Tolliver) Harder; daughter, Kassandra Harder, Port Clinton, OH; son, Seth Harder Fremont, OH; 3 step children, Jason Henry, Ashley Henry, and Kristina Henry; 6 grandchildren, Layla, Brett, Avery, Ayden, Mileena, and Xander; parents, William & Luana Harder, Perrysburg, OH; sisters, Roseanne (Randy) Brietzke, Osceola, IN, Dolly (Philip) Bartell of Oak Harbor, Elaine (Michael) Pantorno, Perrysburg; brother, Charles (Lori) Harder, Defiance, OH, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents, Earlin Harder and Marian Harder Boyer, maternal grandparents, Troy and Viola Sherrill, many beloved aunts and uncles; and in-laws, Robert and Patricia Tolliver. Family and friends are invited to call from 1-8 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M.
