William Dackermann

William Paul Dackermann, 66, of Port Clinton, OH died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born March 22, 1945 in Elizabeth, NJ the son of Herbert and Ruth (Davey) Dackermann. He married Maryann Stuby on Feb. 12, 1966 and she survives. Mr. Dackermann was a boilermaker for Exon Co. retiring in 2000. He was a member of Local 877, Bayway, NJ, Lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Exon retirement club. He enjoyed golfing. Surviving are his wife: Maryann; son: Paul W. (Jenifer) Dackermann of Port Clinton; daughter: Helena R. (Bryan) Barr of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Avery Dackermann, Zachary Barr, Bryanna Barr, Alaina Dackermann, Zoey Barr, Arleigh Dackermann; mother: Ruth Dackermann; brothers: Herbert J. (Eunice) Dackermann of Julian, CA, twin brother: Robert A. (Suzanne) Dackermann of Naples, FL; sisters: Ruth Ann (Joseph) Doncsecz of Lehighton, PA, Louise M Macaoay of Union Beach, NJ. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be given to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Wounded Warriors.
