William "Bill" Thomas Rucker

William (Bill) Thomas Rucker, 86, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away peacefully, Monday August 20, 2018 at Stein Hospice surrounded by his loved ones. A memorial visitation will be held from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM on Thursday, August 23rd at Neidecker Le Veck & Crosser, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. A funeral service is planned for 11AM on Friday, August 24th at Neidecker Le Veck & Crosser, followed by a brief graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum. Following the graveside service, the family welcomes all friends and loved ones to join them for a celebration of life luncheon at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 219 N Madison Street in Port Clinton, Ohio. Bill was born May 6, 1932 in Arthur, TN to Frank and Edith (Bussell) Rucker He was a member of Gap Creek Church in Arthur, TN and a welder for 50 years out of Johnson City, TN, Local 538. He enjoyed his garden, whittling, fishing and spending time with his family. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Ruby. His three daughters, Tammy Rucker, Kim Brown and Judy (Joe) Paydock . His Son, William (Julie) Rucker, his sister, Christine Standifier, his brother Willard (Ann) Rucker, 6 grandchildren; Jessica (Rich), Lee, Krysten (Josh), Ashley, Jake and Kelsey and 3 great grandchildren; Kimmy, Aric and Austin. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Edith Rucker, his sisters Ethel Jane Rucker, Esther Catron and Marie Crea, and his brother, Albert Rucker.
