William "Bill" Dubbert

William "Bill" Dubbert, 85, of Port Clinton Ohio, died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, October 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 11, 1928 in Port Clinton, the son of William and Hilda (Hontz) Dubbert. On July 25, 1946 he married Helen Hambly and she survives. Bill worked at the former Celotex Corporation in Port Clinton as a heavy equipment operator for over 45 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Port Clinton. Bill was a family man and loved spending time at home with them. Survivors include his wife: Helen; son: Russell (Margaret) Dubbert, Troy, Alabama; daughters: Carolyn Currier, Port Clinton; Bonnie (Cliff) Welch, Marblehead; Karen (Wayne) Snyder, Port Clinton; Dianna (William) Reed, Port Clinton; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Fred (Diane) Dubbert, Port Clinton; Larry (Della) Dubbert, Port Clinton; half-brother: Bernard Dubbert, Marblehead. He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sons: Ronnie Lee and Mitchell; sister: Mildred Kline; and half-brother: Gaylord Dubbert. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 10 am until funeral services at 11am with Pastor Gene Smith officiating.
