William A Stubblefield

William "Bill" A. Stubblefield, 40, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on October 13, 1969 in Port Clinton, the son of Alfred W. and Georgia (Swift) Stubblefield. Bill was self employed, working out of his home for "Just Your Signs & Shirts". He was an avid billiard player in the winter. He was a long time member of the Ottawa County Billiard League where he was past president as well as a member in the Sandusky County Mens Pool League & the Vacationland Pool League. He was an active member of the Port Clinton High School Soccer Boosters Club & Port Clinton Youth Soccer. Bill spent much of his time coaching soccer & assisting with his son's baseball & basketball teams. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved to camp, fish, & play golf in the summer. Most importantly, he was a family oriented man who loved spending time with his wife and kids. Survivors include his wife & high school sweetheart: Tracy (Nickloy) whom he married on August 7, 1992; sons: Brandon and Nathan, both at home; mother: Georgia, of Columbus, OH; step brothers: Pete and Art Collins, both of Columbus, OH; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Steve and Pam Nickloy, of Port Clinton; brothers-in-law: Mark (April) Nickloy and their children: Alexis, Ben, Shelby, Zack, and Austin, of Port Clinton; and Steve (Stacey) Nickloy and their children: Sammy and Sy, of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio where funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 9:00 AM with Pastor David Gowan officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made out to the family.
