Willard C. Baker

Willard C. Baker, Maj. (Ret.) US Army, 89, of Catawba Island, died Tuesday September 25, 2007 at H.B. Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He was born September 10, 1918 in Aliquippa, PA. He was retired from the Federal Government. Surviving are his fiancé Jane Davenport of Catawba Island; daughters Deborah Long of North Carolina and Pamela Kauffman of PA; and a grandson Charles W. Kauffman, IV of PA. He was preceded in death by his wife R. Joan (Basinger) Baker. At his request, services will be held at a later date with burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
