Wayne S. Pilny

Wayne S. Pilny, 88, of Catawba Island, OH passed away Thursday,

December 15, 2022 at Admirals Pointe, Huron, OH. He was born August

23, 1934 in Cleveland, OH the son of Emil and Miriam (Charles) Pilny.

He married Nancy Allen on May 29, 1965 and she survives. Wayne was a

United States Marine veteran serving in the Korean War. He was part of 1st Amphib Force Recon and the color guard at 8th & I. He and his brother owned P & B Associates and he was a sheet metal worker for

Cleveland Refrigeration. He enjoyed boating and traveling.

Surviving are his wife: Nancy; daughters: Shannon Pilny of Catawba

Island, Heather (Chris) Calogar of Cleveland; grandchildren: Zachary

Calogar (Estrella), Carmeron Calogar; great-grandchildren: Romeo, Austin and

Harmony Calogar; nephews: Bret (Lynn) Pilny of Vermilion, Kenneth (Melinda) Allen of Perry, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Dennis Pilny.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm

at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service,

Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where memorial services will be conducted Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Father James
