Wayne E. Fillmore

Wayne E. Fillmore, 66, of Rocky Ridge, Ohio, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born in May 31, 1945, a son of Ernest & Emma (Cutcher) Fillmore. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. Wayne was an avid pool player for many years with the local NBSL and he loved to play the lottery on a daily basis. In August of 2011, thanks to the parents of a youthful donor, Wayne received a kidney transplant which greatly improved his quality of life. Wayne is survived by his wife, Clara (Bostater) Fillmore, children, Tommi (Bob) Kitzler, Rose Oberhaus, Way (Stacy) Fillmore, Jr.; grandchildren, Curt (Megan) Clere, Christina (Carl) Keiter, Justin Clere, Michelle Fillmore, Brittany Fillmore, and Taylor Michael; great grandson, Cayden Clere; and siblings, Mildred Reaper, Joan Fillmore, Richard Fillmore, and Sandy Kerns. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughters, Tabitha Clere Depner and Sarah Clere, son-in-law, Lannie Clere, mother and father-in-law, Pearl & Thelma Bostater, brothers, Calvin, Rodger, and Gerald (Red) Fillmore, and brother-in-law, Frank Bostater. Services will be held at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where the family will receive friends after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday.
