Warren D. Rose, 88, of Port Clinton died Monday, January 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1924 in Gypsum, OH the son of Herman and Hazel (Truex) Rose. He married Marian Lattimore on August 22, 1953 and she survives. Warren worked in maintenance at U. S. Gypsum for 32 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton and the Port Clinton V.F.W where he was a past commander. Surviving are his wife: Marian; god daughter: Marcia Foss of Genoa, OH; nephew: Marshall (Kim) Colvin and Mitch (Kathy) Colvin both of California and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Eugene and Wayne Rose. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to the Port Clinton V. F. W.
