Warren David Croxton, Jr.

Warren David Croxton, Jr., 68, of Port Clinton, OH died Monday, June 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born May 30, 1948 in Pennsylvania, the son of Warren D. and Rosemary (Gillmore) Croxton, Sr. He married Sandra Sue Henry on July 10, 1971 and she survives. Warren was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a Class A Mechanic for the former USCO and then worked at the Ottawa County Veteran's Services. He was a member of V.F.W. 2480, Port Clinton where he was a past commander and past quarter master. He was also the Past Commander of VFW District 9 when he was awarded All State Commander. He was a member of Port Clinton Eagles Lodge Aerie No. 2295 and a past member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton. He enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Surviving are his wife: Sue; son: Shawn David Croxton of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Courtney Croxton, Ethan Croxton; mother: Rosemary Croxton; brother: Joe Croxton of Tennessee; sisters: Barb Stith of Port Clinton and Kate (Bill) Crawford of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his father Warren David Croxton, Sr. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 2:00 -4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Graveside Military Honors will be presented at 11:00 am Friday, July 1, 2016 at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH followed by a bereavement meal at V.F.W. Post 2480, Port Clinton, OH.
