Wanda Lee Warnke

Wanda Lee Warnke, 71, of Port Clinton died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born Jan 27, 1941 in Washington, PA the daughter of Warren and Levina (Dignam) Handell. She married Lee C. Warnke, Sr. on Sept. 27, 1958 and he survives. Mrs. Warnke was a homemaker and a pizza maker. She also helped her husband run Candy Kid Charters. She enjoyed bowling. Surviving are her husband Lee; son: Lee (Debra K.) Warnke, Jr. of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Lee Warnke III, Christy Warnke; great-grandchildren: Lee Warnke VI, Tessa Warnke, Atom Moorefield and Rosalyn Moorefield. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Charles Handell, Warren F. Handell; sisters: Shirley Salisbury, Mary Jo Mueller and Carol Handell. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
