Virginia M. Waters

Virginia M. Waters, 84, of Lakeside, OH, and formerly of Elmore, OH, went home on March 24, 2006. She was born November 7, 1921 in Toledo, a daughter of Peter and Lena (Moeffert) Habegger. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Elmore. Virginia was active in the local school band boosters club, bridge clubs and ladies golf leagues. Surviving are her husband Bruce D. Waters whom she married on June 10, 1945; daughters Jean A. (James) Radloff of Catawba Island and Mary J. (David) Maine of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; son John B. (Peggie) Waters of Fort Myers, Florida; grandson Jonathan N. (Molly) Waters; great grandsons Aaron and Jacob Waters; sisters Mildred Panning and Ruth Mallett and a brother Elmer Habegger. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edward “Bob” Habegger, Harold “Hub” Habegger and sisters Edna Blough, Hilda Pollex and Lillian Habegger. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton.
