Virginia M. Lafountain

Virginia M. LaFountain, 83, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Ohio. She was born on July 14, 1925, a daughter of William & Elizabeth (Goetz) Schultz. Virginia was an employee of the former Erie Army Depot, and was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She was the widow of Robert C. LaFountain who preceded her in death on December 21, 1991. Surviving are her sons, Richard LaFountain and Don (Diane) LaFountain, both of Oak Harbor; daughter, Deborah LaFountain, Oak Harbor; brother, Virgil Shultz, Oak Harbor, and grandsons, Rick, Tom, John, and Jason LaFountain. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Irma McDaniel, Clarence Schultz, Ralph Schultz, and Loretta LaFountain. Family and friends are invited to call from 12 noon Wednesday until the time of services at 2 P.M. at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
