Viola W. Ravas

Viola W. Ravas, 100, of Oak Harbor, OH died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born June 20, 1909 in Oak Harbor to the late Edward and Clara (Herring) Hillman. On February 12, 1930 she married Theodore Ravas who preceded her in death September 27, 1974. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Survivors include 8 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and daughter-in-law Carol Ravas. She was preceded in death by her husband, sons: Robert and Gilbert Ravas; daughter-in- law Arlene; and sisters: Leona Teeman and Lorna Gschwind. Graveside Services will begin at 11am Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Salem Township Union Cemetery with burial to follow. Rev. Keith A. Hunsinger will officiate the services.
