Vicki Lee Sievert

Heaven gained another Angel, Vicki Lee Sievert, 71, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully December 23, 2020 at her home. She was born August 23, 1949 in Lima, OH the daughter of Joseph B. and Ruby J. (Baughman) Sproul. Vicki graduated from Waynesfield Goshen High School and received her BA in Education from Bowling Green State University. She married Richard P. Sievert on March 16, 1974. She taught elementary music for Benton-Carroll Salem Schools from 1970 – 2002. She then taught middle school and high school music for Woodmore Schools retiring in 2019. She was a member of Oak Harbor United Methodist Church where she was active in the Prayer Shawl Ministry and previously directed the choir. Surviving are her husband: Dick; children: Michael W. Sievert of Elmore, Cassandra R. Everhardt of Elmore; grandchildren: Ryan Sievert, Samantha Sievert, Michael Sievert, Nicholas Sievert, Connor Barr, Emilee Barr, Joseph Barr; mother: Ruby J. Sproul of Rudolph, OH; siblings: Larry (Lisa) Sproul of Holland, OH, Jerry (Sharon) Sproul of Ft. Wayne, IN, Lisa (Rob) Colcord of Ft. Wayne, IN; brother-in-law: Donald (Jean) Sievert of Graytown, OH. She was preceded in death by her father: Joseph B. Sproul on December 10, 2020. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, January 15, 2021.
