Vernon M. Conley

Vernon M. Conley, 69, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born April 8, 1950 in Port Clinton, OH the son of Robert Earl and Marilynn (Lehman) Conley. Vernon was a United States Army Veteran. He worked at Brush Wellman, he was a Paramedic, headed the Paramedic Program at Providence Hospital, Sandusky, worked for the Ottawa County Job Store and then Ottawa County Veterans Services. Surviving are Rebecca (Rice) Conley; daughter: Lacy (Cole Shaffer) Conley of Oak Harbor; best dog friend: Blu; sisters: Betty (James) Lochotzki of Oak Harbor, Brenda (Tim) Kirk of Kentucky, Judy (Ken) Chaney of Tennessee; sister-in-law: Barbara Apling of Port Clinton; nieces: Stacy Stamm, Mary Stamm Manuel, Theresa Carns; nephews: Alan Lochotzki, Robert Lochotzki, Mark Chaney, Michael Chaney, Jake Apling; many great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 2:00-7:00 pm at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service where memorial services will be conducted 7:00pm Wednesday. Interment will be in Locust Point Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
