Valerie Ann Jones

Valerie Ann Jones was born on March 25, 1969 to Lynn and Jane (Berkheimer) Jones. She dedicated her life to helping others. She was always a haven of authenticity, virtue and love. She was very close with her large family and enjoyed crafting and cackling with them. She learned from a young age that life was all about living and living loud she did! She LIVED it the best she could for as long as she could. Val was not blessed to have children of her own, but she was lucky enough to find the love of her life in Chuck, who was happy to share his children and grandchildren. Her zest for life lives on through her nieces and nephews who also considered her a mom. In the last days of her life she was surrounded by the love of her extended family and passed peacefully. Val was preceded in death by her parents, brother Scotty, nephew Andrew Fritz, great niece Ava Arnold, her first spouse, Vicki Carnicom, and very recently the love of her life, Chuck Cover. She is survived by her siblings: Ross Jones, Bruce Jones, Carmen Jones, Kurt Jones (Darla), Dawn Keim, Stephanie Ellington (Steve), Jennifer Cook (Richard), Heather Glass (Dan), and Keith Jones (Karen), along with her 13 nieces and nephews, her step children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
