Timothy William Luebcke

Timothy William Luebcke was welcomed home by his loving Savior Jesus Christ after passing away May 18, 2017 at the Upper Arlington OH home of his sister and brother in law, Barbie and Greg Moore. He is now enjoying the cancer-free, pain-free, perfect joy of heaven! Tim, age 62, worked for the City of Twinsburg and resided in Bedford, OH and Lakeside, OH. He attended Christian Community Church North in Columbus, OH and SS Cosmas & Damian Catholic Church in Twinsburg. Tim was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and an avid fisherman but loved most of all spending time with family. He supported many charities focused on spreading the word of Jesus Christ to the world. Tim was born January 27, 1955 in Lakeside, OH to parents LeRoy "Bud" Luebcke and Jane (Miller) Luebcke who preceded him in death. He graduated in 1973 from Danbury High School in Lakeside and attended Kent State University. The eldest of seven children, Tim is survived by his siblings (spouses) Carol Arntz (Chuck) of Lakeside OH; Barbie Moore (Greg) of Upper Arlington OH; Tom Luebcke (Kim) of Troy OH; Scott Luebcke (Annette) of Powell OH; Kathy York (Brett) of Naperville IL; and Lorie Ivanoff (Stewart) of Fort Wayne IN. "Uncle Tim" was dearly loved and enjoyed by his nieces and nephews Chelsea, Abby and Ellie Grace Moore, Brad Luebcke, Charlie Hall, Teddy Rector, Stevie Radabaugh and Jared and Riley York. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 4:00 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. LakesideMarblehead, OH 43440 where funeral services will be conducted 1:30pm Friday, May 26, 2017 with additional visitation on Friday from 12:30 until the service. Interment will be in Sacket Cemetery followed immediately by a Celebration of Tim's Life at the Parish Hall of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St, Marblehead, OH 43440, (419) 798-4177. Memorials may be payable to the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation, 236 Walnut Avenue, Lakeside, Ohio 43440 (for memorial bench on the Lakeside dock where he spent his time fishing) or to St. Joseph Church, 113 James St., Marblehead, OH 43440.
