Thomas "Tobi" Monak

Thomas "Tobi" Monak, 52, of Cleveland and formerly of Marblehead, died unexpectedly on Feb. 23, 2013. He was born September 11, 1960 in Sandusky, OH the son of George and Norma (Balduf) Monak. Tobi was a United States Air Force veteran and he worked for GCA Services Group, Cleveland, OH. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan and enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandchildren. Surviving are his daughters: Amanda (Joe Calloway) Monak of Strongsville, Sarah (Mike) Tibbetts of North Berwick, ME, Melissa Monak of Strongsville, OH; mother: Norma June Monak of Marblehead; grandchildren: Kasjia Gray, Jacob Tibbetts, Syrus Calloway and Morgan Tibbetts; sisters: Debbie (Mike) Garrard of Marblehead, Cheryl Monak of Marblehead; nieces Holly and Jessica Garrard, Emily Hart; great-nephews Seth and Michael Garrard and great-niece: Grace Garrard; step-mother: Merceleen Monak. He waqs preceded in death by his father George Monak. There will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association.
