Thomas Parke McRitchie, 83, of Port Clinton died Thursday, October 16, 2008 in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. He was born April 11, 1925 in Port Clinton, the son of the late Kenneth David and Leah (Darlison) McRitchie. He married Janice Evelyn Bartlebaugh and she preceded him in death in 1994. In 2000 he married the former Betty Smith and she survives. Mr. McRitchie was the CEO of Quikstir, Inc which he founded in 1954. He was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton; a 60 year member of Oliver H. Perry Lodge #341 F. & A.M. also a member of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo; Port Clinton Yacht Club since 1953, past commodore of IDNIRA (Ice Boat), he was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed sailing for the past 50 years. Surviving are his son: T. Park & Nancy (Lucas) McRitchie of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Leah Jo and Thomas P. McRitchie III both of Port Clinton; step-brother: James (Grace) Wolf of Port Clinton; step-sister: Mary Alice (Wolf) Streeter of Port Clinton and brother-in-law and sister-in-law James and Bonnie (Bartlebaugh) Mars. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Janice; step-brothers: Richard Wolf and George Wolf. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 pm Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton. Visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:30 9:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Masonic services will be held Monday at 6:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Following interment services the family would like to invite everyone to join them at the Port Clinton Yacht Club for refreshments and camaraderie Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa County Historical Museum or St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
