Thomas E. Patchett, Jr., 66, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, July 09, 2013 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on September 14, 1946 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the son of Thomas E. and Elizabeth (Vrotsos) Patchett, Sr.. Tom graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1968, and was self employed with an ad specialty company. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton. He was a very simple man who enjoyed spending time with his family, and also with his feline companion, "Kitty". Survivors include his mother: Elizabeth; sister: Cathy (Jerry) Davenport, Catawba Island; brother: Robert Patchett, Destin, Florida; nieces: Danielle (Peyton) Krupp, Jerianne Davenport, Vanessa and Sarah Patchett; great nieces: Elayna and Paige Krupp; and great nephew: Fulton Krupp. He was preceded in death by his father. There will be no visitation or services as cremation has taken place. Private burial will be held at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Port Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 or to the Donor's choice.
