Thomas E. Hofacker

Thomas E. Hofacker, 67, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died February 14, 2011. He was born to Kenneth & Catherine (Swartz) Hofacker on July 2, 1943 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Tom graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1963. He became a tool and die maker and was last employed by Delphi. He retired from there. Tom also served in the Ohio National Guard for 7 years. Tom is survived by his wife, Patricia (Stephens) Hofacker whom he married on August 17, 1968 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. He has one daughter, Katie (Patrick) Hofacker Klinker; and infant grandson, Oliver Thomas Klinker of Dublin, Ohio. Tom has two brothers, James (Carol) Hofacker and Jack (Cassie) Hofacker both living in Port Clinton. He is also survived by nephews, Jim, Scott (Michelle), Clayton, Tyler, Zach, Kaleb, nieces Cindy , Kyly (Steven), Victoria, Sarah, Caroline, Jessica, and Rachelle Hofacker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James Lehman officiating. Burial will follow at Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor, Ohio. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Bay Township Fire Department.
