Thomas Allen Bloom

Thomas Allen Bloom, 54 of Oak Harbor, OH died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his home following a lengthily illness. He was born September 25, 1961 in Fremont, OH to the late Vernon & Jeanette (Eversole) Bloom. He was confirmed at Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore, OH and a 1979 graduate of Woodmore High School. He married the former Christina Cowell and she survives. Tom worked over 35 years at Materion, the former Brush Wellman Plant, Elmore, as a Data Base Manager (I.T.) working with S.A.P. He also owned and operated his own Photography business called "T. Bloom Photography". He enjoyed attending concerts, traveling, fishing, and cheering on the Tigers & Steelers. Survivors include his wife Christina Bloom of Woodville, OH; brother David C. Bloom of Austin, TX; sister Linda K. Jamerson of Homewood, IL; nieces Dorianne R. Abbott and Alyssa Bloom; nephew Evan C. Bloom; aunts: Marilyn (Dan) Mohr of Toledo, OH, Rosemary Eversole of Perrysburg, OH, and Ruth Ann Steinle of Oak Harbor, OH, as well as friend Joan Lippert. He was also preceded in death by a sister Susan E. Bloom and nephew Peter A. Jamerson. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Private services for Tom will be arranged by the family at a later date. Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore- Genoa Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
