Theodore T Lacey

Theodore T. “Ted” Lacey, 78, of Port Clinton and formerly of Cleveland, OH passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born March 21, 1943 in Cleveland the son of Theodore and Frances (Mackiewscz) Leciejewski. He married Ursula Luchowski. Ted and Ursula owned and operated Gertrude Bakery in Cleveland before retiring to the Port Clinton area. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He belonged to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Port Clinton and the Knights of Columbus Council 1750. He previously was a member of Bakers Local 19 of Cleveland. Ted loved spending time with his grandkids and following their sporting events. He enjoyed fishing, boating, fixing things in his garage and he was an avid Browns and Cavs fan. Surviving are his wife: Ursula; son: Allen (Jessica Wade) Lacey of Fremont; daughter: Michele Lacey of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Kaitlin Paul, Kyle Paul, Christian Paul and Kierstyn Lacey; brothers: Bob (Sally) Leciejewski of Port Clinton and Jim (Nancy) Leciejewski of Sheffield Village, OH. Visitation will be Monday, May 24, 2021 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Jonathon Wight 10:00 am Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton, OH. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. The family suggests memorial contributions may be given to any Organ Donation Charity in memory of Ted’s Kidney Transplant.
