Thelma Brown

Thelma Brown, 86 of Elmore, OH died suddenly Monday, June 19, 2006 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, Oregon, OH. She was born January 27, 1920 in Elmore to the late Theodore and Clara (Roepke) Buhrow. On October 15, 1974, she married David Brown who preceded her in death on March 9, 1987. Thelma worked at Camp Perry, Standard Products, Auto Lite, and the Portage Inn over her lifetime. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Elmore. She loved to hook rugs and do jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her brothers, Herbert Buhrow of Oak Harbor, OH and Willard (Shirley) Buhrow of Elmore, and her sister, Barbara Blausey of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Donald, Norman, and Infant Wilber Buhrow. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 23, 2006 at Union Cemetery, Elmore, with Rev. John W. Bock officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Harris- Elmore EMS.
