Sylvia I. Mischler

Sylvia I. Mischler, 70, of Marblehead, Ohio and formerly of Oregon, died Monday, December 31, 2007 at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio. She was born May 24, 1937 in Sandusky, Ohio, the daughter of the late Kenneth L. & Ruth I. (Patton) Richardson. She married Robert C. Mischler on September 6, 1987. Sylvia was a LPN working at Otterbein Northshore Retirement Village, Lakeside, Ohio and in private home care. She previously worked at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eugene, Oregon. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky and most recently a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury Township, where she served as a greeter. She was also a member of the Peace Makers. She loved the Oregon coast and enjoyed gardening and boating. Surviving are her husband, Robert; son, Larry (Becky) Bolan of Eugene, OR; daughter, Elaine R. Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; step-son, David (Heather) Mischler of Marblehead, OH; step-daughter, Shelly Menses of Harlington, TX; grandchildren, Troy Johnson, Drew Johnson both of Denver, CO, Kendra Menses, Marc Menses both of Harlington, TX, Joshua Mischler, Jacob Mischler both of Marblehead, OH; brothers, Tom (Judy) Richardson of Medford, OR, and Daniel (Sandy) Richardson of Condon, OR. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 S. Church Rd, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon reception following the service at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
