Suzanne Emily Giesler of Elmore, Ohio, born on November 1, 1932 in Elliston, Ohio, passed away at the age of 86 on November 15, 2018 at the Genoa Care Center. She was a 1950 graduate of Harris Elmore High School and a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore. An avid reader, her interests also included travel (she had visited most of the 50 states), and spending time with her many friends and her family. Additionally, she worked as a volunteer at St. Charles Hospital for more than 25 years, and was involved on various committees and sang in choir at church, all while taking care of the needs of her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harmon & Lucy (Kontak) Avers. She leaves behind Myron (married on October 29, 1954), her husband of 64 years, her sons Jerry (Robin), Dave (Carol), Dan (Kim), John (Shirley), and Matt (Becky), her sister Lynn (Jim) Lowry, and her brothers Wilbur (Kay) Avers and Fred (Roxann) Avers, as well as 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Friends and family will be received beginning at 10 AM on Monday, November 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 412 Fremont St., Elmore, with the funeral service following at 11 AM. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Elmore, followed by a luncheon served at the church.
