Susan M. Harris

Susan M. Harris, 61 of Oak Harbor, OH died peacefully Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Park Cliff Assisted Living, Northwood, OH under Hospice care. She was born September 29, 1958 in Berkey, OH to the late Orville and Regina (Bettinger) Cramer. She was a 1976 graduate of Evergreen High School. On February 23, 2000 she married Mark Harris and he survives. Susan worked for Kmart in Toledo for 36 years working up to the HR Department. She then was transferred to the Fremont Kmart and worked in the office until she retired in 2013. She was an avid book reader with her favorite author being Nora Roberts. She always said the best book ever was "Chesapeake Blue". Susan also enjoyed doing needlepoint and taking motorcycle trips with her husband. Her favorite song was "Carry On" by Norah Jones. Survivors include her husband Mark Harris of Oak Harbor, brothers: Rick (Pam) Cramer and Dave (Vic) Cramer; sister Chris Wiltshire; several nieces and nephews; and 5 step- grandchildren. There will be no services for Susan as cremation has taken place. Those wishing to contribute in memory of Susan are asked to consider Heartland Hospice.
