Susan M. Berry, 80, of Port Clinton, OH passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Portland Place, Sandusky, OH. She was born Feb. 24, 1942 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Julia (Tackas) Thomas. She married William Berry on Jan. 26, 1963 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2015. Susan began her career as a cashier for May Company in North Olmsted and then became a cashier-trainer for Giant Eagle in the Cleveland area.
Surviving are her daughters: Deborah Fantana of Sandusky, Donna (Kirk) Smith of North Ridgeville, Susan L. (Donald) Paule of Sandusky; granddaughter: Erin Paule of Galion, OH; brother: Dennis (Katy) Thomas of Wellington, FL; sister: Julie Anne (Laura Eakin) Thomas of Sonoma County, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband and sister: Kathleen (Fred) Radon.
Per Sue’s wishes there will be no services or visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial contribution may be given to Southern Care Hospice, 9501 US Hwy 250 N Suite 2, Milan, OH 44846.
