Susan K. Brown

Susan K. Brown, 83 of Genoa, OH died Monday, June 3, 2024 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH under Hospice Care. She was born March 29, 1941 in Delaware, OH to the late Joe Swearengin and Ruth (Hoffman) Mooar. She was a 1959 graduate of Jordan High School and 1962 graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing, both in Columbus, GA. Susan was a Registered Nurse for many area hospitals for over 35 years. On December 28, 1963 she married David L. Brown who preceded her in death on December 21, 1996. She loved being a nurse and reading.

Survivors include her children: Paul Brown of Genoa, OH, Gregg (Valerie) Brown of Perrysburg, OH, and Audra (Bob) Glass of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren: Jake, Logan, Kelsey, and Haley; siblings: John (Dee) Mooar of Anderson, SC, Patricia Weidner of Sylvania, OH, and Judy Phillips of Sebring, FL. She was also preceded in death by her step-father Paul Mooar.

Graveside Services will begin at 11am on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, OH. The family will receive friends Thursday beginning at 10am until the time of Service. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elder Life Senior Living Community, Genoa.
