Sue Ellen Schuster, 66, of Huron, Ohio, and formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on May 4, 1951 in Port Clinton, a daughter of Fred and Marilyn (Below) Jennings. On May 18, 1985 she married Charles J. Schuster and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2016. Sue worked at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton as well as at a Naval Base in Virginia as a Registered Nurse. She was also a dispatcher for GTE in Port Clinton and Norwalk, Ohio. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Huron, Ohio where she was active in creating a community prayer path behind the church. She was also a former member of the Huron Lions Club, and actively volunteered at the Christ Community Meal in Huron. She loved to camp and travel, especially to the East Coast. She enjoyed visiting National Parks and was very fond of Lighthouses. Survivors include her mother, Marilyn Jennings, Port Clinton; step-sons, Carl (Glenda) Schuster, Huron, Ohio, Brian (Holly) Schuster, Alpharetta, Georgia, and Kevin (Melissa) Schuster, Fort Worth, Texas; step-grandchildren, Justin, Nathan, Andrew, and Bailey Schuster. She was preceded in death by her father and husband. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 9 am until Funeral Services at 11 am with Reverend Dr. James Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery.
