Sue C. Longenecker

Sue Carol Longenecker, 79 of Elmore, OH died Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the University of Michigan Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born January 12, 1940 in Elmore, OH to the late Clifford and Kathryn I. (Willey) Arndt. She was a 1958 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. On December 11, 1965 she married James Richard "Rich" Longenecker who preceded her in death on January 26, 2003. Sue retired from the Woodmore Schools as a food service provider. She enjoyed doing crafts (especially crocheting hangers and dishcloths for anyone who wanted them), having coffee with the girls, traveling to the Amish, and watching birds. Sue also loved being with her grandchildren and facebook. She was a member of St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore. Survivors include her daughter Pam Miller of Northville, MI; grandchildren: Rachel, Jessica, and Andrew Miller; sister- in- law Terry Arndt of Woodville, OH and her children Jennifer Arndt, Brooke Arndt, and Betsy York. She was also preceded in death by her brother Richard Arndt. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11th from 2-6pm at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore- Genoa Chapel with Services to follow at 6pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in the Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
