Stuart W. Litchfield

Stuart W. Litchfield, 69 of Oak Harbor, OH died suddenly Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, OH. He was born June 21, 1950 in Cheyenne, WY to the late Robert and Faye (Jones) Litchfield. He was a graduate of Palmer Ridge High School in Monument, CO and received his Engineering Degree while attending Lakeland College, State University of New York, and Colorado State University- Pueblo. He served in the United States Navy from 1970 1978. Stuart retired from First Energy in 2009, where he also worked for First Energy Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Davis- Besse Nuclear Power Plant, Contractor for PKMJ, Rolls Royce, and Wectec. On November 17, 2016 he married the former Margaret "Peggy" Bruss and she survives. Stuart was a member of Oak Harbor Lodge # 495 F. & A.M., Oliver H. Perry Lodge #341 F. & A.M., Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, Grand Council Royal & Select Masons of Ohio, and Fremont Commandery #56 Knights Templar. He enjoyed puzzles, trivia, Astrology, cruises, stamp collecting, and was a Harry Potter fan. Survivors include his wife Peggy of Oak Harbor; daughters: Kandice (Joseph) Susee of Covington, WA, Jill (Kevin) Zogg of Charlotte, NC, and Erin Litchfield of Concord, OH; step-son Michael (Erin) Bruss of Toledo, OH; grandchildren: Stephanie Litchfield, Cole Moon, Ella Zogg, Blake and Tessa Bruss; great- grandchildren: Hailey and Sean Glenn, and Sebastian Crossman; brothers: Edward Litchfield of Pensacola, FL and Scott McKenzie of Paso Robles, CA; sister Darcy Dugal of San Diego, CA; and westies Rambo and Roxie. He was preceded in death by his parents and William McKenzie.
