Stephen J. Bacak

Stephen J. Bacak, Sr., 85, of Port Clinton died August 13, 2012 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born August 28, 2012 in Marblehead, OH the son of George and Barbara Bacak. He married Mary J. Andrews on Mar. 23, 1949 and she preceded him in death on Feb. 2, 2010. Mr. Bacak was a tool and die maker retiring from Ford Motor Company in 1992. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH and he enjoyed golfing and feeding and watching birds. Surviving are his children: Carole (Richard) Mullins, Stephen J. Bacak, Jr., Shay Myers, Don (Jody) Bacak, JoAnn (Marty) Liston and Alice (Alan) Mannik; grandchildren: Brian Bacak, Laura Laubacher, Ben Bacak, Stephen J. Bacak, III, Lacey Liston, Landon Liston, Amanda Myers, Jon Myers; great-grandchildren: Addison Laubacher, Kaylee Laubacher and Avery Bacak. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, August 17, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio or St. Joseph Catholic Church. Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
