Stephanie E. Richard

Stephanie E. Richard, 87, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 following a brief illness. She was born February 4, 1934 in Burlington, Connecticut. Her interests over the years included polka dancing, golfing, bowling, volleyball, sewing, cross stitch, and making Ukrainian Easter eggs. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Ava Maria Bible study group and Port Clinton Yacht Club. Her work history included working for Connecticut Mutual Insurance Company, Arrow Hart & Hegeman and Ottawa County Regional Planning. Stephanie was preceded by her loving husband of 43 years, Raymond L. Richard, Jr., in 1999; her infant son John; parents Frank and Kathryn Kucia; sisters Jennie Calitri and Emily Stolt; brothers Stanley, Adam, Joseph, Mitchell, John, Walter, Benjamin, Frank and Kazimierz Kucia. She was survived by one brother, Alexander (Julie) Kucia; sister-in-law Shirley Kucia; daughters, Susan (Dan) Plumb; Lori (Rick) Choquette; Ann (Todd) Puckett; Donna Dresser; grandchildren David (Amanda Apling) Plumb; Haley Prusik; Matthew (Diane) Plumb; Daniel (fiancee Alina) Plumb; Isaac (Haley) Puckett; Evan (girlfriend Jess) Puckett; Alexander Dresser; Abigail (boyfriend David) Dresser; Dane (girlfriend Cortni) Puckett; Maxwell Puckett; Maggie Puckett; great grandchildren Eli and Aubrey Plumb and Piper Rose Puckett, as well as many beloved extended family members and friends. Her family meant the world to her and she loved and enjoyed many family picnics and reunions. Her greatest joy was spending time with her four daughters, 11 grandchildren and recently three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH 43452. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Jonathon Wight 10:00 am Monday, May 3, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery followed by a reception at Port Clinton Yacht Club.
