Stephanie Ann Jasenak

Stephanie Ann Jasenak, 93, of Catawba Island and formerly of Mansfield, OH passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her home. She was born October 18, 1927 in Lansford, PA the daughter of Valentine and Rozalie (Konecny) Janicek. She married Frank Jasenak on January 10, 1953 and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2014. Mrs. Jasenak was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton and a former member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Mansfield, OH. She was a wife, mother and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed her catholic card group, playing golf, cooking and gardening. She loved animals. Surviving are her children: Cynthia M Jasenak of Catawba Island, Lori Ann (Harold Reff) Jasenak of Egg Harbor City, NJ, Michael J. (Kim) Jasenak of Yorktown, VA; grandchildren: Erin (Adam) Jasenak of Tennessee, Stephen (Hannah) Jasenak of Virginia, Brianna (Michael) Stewart of Tennessee; great-grandson: Everett Jasenak; sister: Bernadine Plocinik of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother: Valentine (Ellie) Janicek, Jr.; sisters: Alma (Sam) Morana, Sarah (Robert) Maholick, Margaret (Thomas) Matula, Rose (Bob) Horwedel. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to The Alzheimer’s Association.
