Simon G. Overmyer

Simon G. Overmyer, 4 day old infant son of Christopher A. and Jessica (Thompson) Overmyer, of Marblehead, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He was born on November 17, 2010 in Sandusky, Ohio. Survivors include his parents: Christopher and Jessica; sister: Caitlynn Michelle Thompson; brothers: Everett Christopher Overmyer and Isaac John Overmyer; maternal grandparents: Daniel Edward (Dianne Rozak) Thompson, Pamela Kay (Thomas) Lovell, Marjorie Beth Leggett; paternal grandparents: Terry Overmyer and Allen Overmyer; 15 aunts and uncles, and 16 cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: William Fredrick Overmyer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 9-10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay Street, Marblehead until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am with Reverend Daniel J. Ring officiating. Burial will follow in Clemons Cemetery in Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside or Marblehead Fire Departments.
