Shirley Elaine Swain

Shirley Elaine Swain, 83, of Danbury Township passed away on April 10, 2019. She married Kenneth Swain in Angola, IN. They were married 58 years. She was a graduate of Danbury Township High School class of 1954. Shirley was a life member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church and a member of the Humane Society of Ottawa County. She worked at the Peninsula Builders and retired from Sandusky Kroger in 1993. Shirley is survived by her children: Linda (Mike Eaton) Leahy of Vickery, OH and Curtis Lee (Mary) Swain of Danbury Township, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth, son: William T. Swain, parents: Gerard and Lois (Wahlers) Phillabaum, grandparents: Wellington and Elizabeth (Finken) Phillabaum and Benjamin and Jeanette (Vogt) Wahlers. Cremation will take place and she will be with her husband, dog Buster and sweet cat Jill. Private burial services will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 E. Sand Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
