Shirley E. Truman

Shirley Elaine Truman, 85, of Woodville, OH died September 20, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. She was born August 14, 1921 in Toledo, OH to the late Nelson and Lula (Ullery) Swank. She married Edward Truman who preceded her in death in May 5, 1987. Shirley was a licensed beautician and owned and operated Truman Pharmacy with her husband retiring in 1986. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore. Survivors include her daughter Anne (Mike) Gackstetter of Woodville and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Lucinda Truman, and brothers Nelson and John Swank. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm Sunday, October 1, 2006 at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore with the Rev. Stephen Lutz officiating. Burial will be in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa.
