Shirley A. Freimark

Shirley A. Freimark, 83 of Elmore, OH died unexpectedly Monday, June 18, 2018 at her home. She was born July 23, 1934 in Woodville, OH to the late Thomas and Melvina (Keil) Good. She was a 1952 graduate of Woodville High School. On April 29, 1955 she married Kenneth W. Freimark . Shirley was employed at Bell Telephone Company in Toledo, OH, then worked for a short time at Thierwechter Insurance Company in Oak Harbor before becoming a homemaker. In her later years she enjoyed her time working at the Portage Inn in Elmore. She held memberships in the Elmore Legion Auxiliary Post #279 and the Fremont Eagles. Shirley loved to bowl and be sociable, with majority of her life caring for her family. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Kenneth of Elmore; children: Terri (Tom) Nowak of Elmore, Gerry (Cindy) Freimark of Oak Harbor, Marty (Marilyn) Freimark of Elmore, and Denny (Gina) Freimark of Elmore; 8 grandchildren, and 19 great- grandchildren; and step- brother John Kruse. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Betty Burdge and Carol Stansifer. Services will be handled privately by the family with burial to be in Elliston Cemetery on the Freimark Family Plot. Those wishing to make a contribution in her name are asked to consider the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
