Sharon F. Moellman

Sharon F. Moellman, 78 of Genoa and formerly of Elmore, OH passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, OH on June 9, 2020 surrounded virtually by her family. She was born September 28, 1941 in Genoa, OH to James D. and Doris (Oehmke) Huston. She was a 1959 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. Throughout her life she had worked for Boeing (in Seattle), Elmore SuperValu and Pills-n-Packages both in Elmore, Millers Market and Rite Aid both in Genoa, Meijer in Northwood, and also provided home/healthcare to people in the area. Sharon was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore. Her last few years were spent surrounded by the great people at Genoa Retirement Village. She enjoyed their care and company for more than 2 years. The staff made her time there a happy time in her life. She enjoyed the activities, family brunches, parties, outings and weekly Happy Hour. She will be remembered for wanting to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children: Brenda (Dave) Johnson, Kristine (Steve) Holland both of Elmore, and Paul (Lorie) Moellman of Woodville; mother Doris Huston of Elmore; grandchildren: Jordan Moellman, Eric Holland, Ashley (Brennan) Hornyak, Stephanie (Andrew) Hayes, Justin Moellman and Alyson Moellman; great- grandchildren: Elliott and Gemma Hayes and 2 more on the way; sisters Barb (Bill) Avers and Beth (Cliff) Shope both of Elmore. She was preceded in death by her father James Huston and an Infant sister. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date by the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore- Genoa Chapel, with burial to be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery.
