Sharon A. Rofkar

Sharon A. Rofkar, 82, of Port Clinton passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born January 10, 1939 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Ralph and Grace (Allison) Wightman. She married Franklin Rofkar on March 19, 1955 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 2015. Sharon worked at Edgewood Manor Care Center for many years. Sharon was always helping others and on her own she rescued many animals that were injured, sick or dumped. Sharon was also a member of Cochran’s Majorettes. Surviving are her daughter: Pamela J. Rofkar of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Ian J. Christiansen, Victor Christiansen; great-grandchildren: Aislynn Christiansen, Kismet Christiansen, Karma Christiansen, Grace Christiansen; sister: Linda McCleary of Port Clinton. Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH.
