Scott E. Keils

August 19, 1956 — September 11, 2021

Scott Edward Keils, 65, of Catawba Island, OH, tragically passed away on September the 11th, 2021. Born to James and Elaine Foss, Scott was a real estate developer and builder. Scott was fiercely passionate about being a hard worker from the start and dedicated his life to both his pursuit of self-employment and his family. After he graduated junior college, Scott landed a job as a park ranger. This later led him next to a lucrative career as a car salesmen, which then kickstarted his self-employment journey. In 1986, Scott met his wife, Lolita and fathered 2 children Jon Bodden & Deanna Merlino. Scott put family first, always, and was a very dedicated father. His son went on to also work in the construction industry and his daughter went on to also become self-employed in the health & wellness industry. Scott was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance were the foundation of his family. Scott deeply loved nature and very much enjoyed fishing. He spent most of his time split between enjoying his wife’s company and working on their Ohio and New York properties. Scott was predeceased by his father James, his brother Kenny and his sister DeEtta and leaves behind mother Elaine, wife Lolita, brother Robert, son Jon, daughter Deanna, and grandson Christopher. Services will be held on Saturday September 18th. Public viewing will be available 9 am at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel in Marblehead followed by 11 am Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marblehead.
