Scott E. Billings, 71, of Port Clinton died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, OH. He was born Jan 11, 1942 in Bellevue, OH the son of William and JoAnn Billings. He married Mary White and she preceded him in death on June 21, 1980. Mr. Billings was a United States Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a self employed Accountant in Port Clinton, OH. On May 24, 1978 he achieved 35 years as a member of "Friends of Bill". Surviving are his daughter: Erin (Christopher) Lucas of Port Clinton; son: Todd Billings of Nantucket, MA; grandchildren: Ben Lucas, Max, Lucas and Mary Lucas. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary; parents and brother: John Billings. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be made to Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
