Scott A. Harger

Scott A. Harger, 65, passed away April 26, 2024, at University Hospital, Cleveland, following a brief illness.

Scott was born October 10, 1958, in Tiffin, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Barbara Harger. He graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1977, where he was a standout swimmer. Following graduation, he entered the US Army, serving for 7 years. His passion was cooking, and he used his talents as a cook with Amtrack and several restaurants in Ottawa County.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara, Lakeside, brothers, Dan and Jeff, and sister, Julie (Terry) Ploeger, along with nephews, John (Kelly) Biggert, Jr., Rick (Kristen) Harger, and Nate Harger.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Rob, nephew, Eric Biggert, and niece, Morgan (Biggert) Martinez.

Per his wishes, services will be private.

Memorials may be given to any Veteran organization.
