Samuel J. Rosiar, 80, of Port Clinton, died Monday March 1, 2010 at the Toledo Hospital in Toledo. He was born January 10, 1930 in Port Clinton, the son of Samuel and Margaret (Kozlok) Rosiar. Sam was retired from General Motors after 32 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion of Sandusky and the UAW Local 913 of Sandusky. Surviving are his wife Janet (Feyedelem) whom he married on August 28, 1954; sons Michael and Craig (Valerie) Rosiar both of Port Clinton, Dean (Cheryl) Rosiar of Marblehead; grandchildren Stephanie, Dean and Jillian and great grandchildren Connor and Payton; sister Mary Stapleton of Port Clinton and a brother Steve Rosiar of Sandusky. Sam was preceded in death by his parents and a brother John Rosiar. The family will receive friends from 3 pm Wednesday until the time of services at 6 pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. The Rev Dan Keck will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ottawa County.
